Plastic surgery is more common than you think (people don't tell you) and has better results than you think (the only surgery you notice is bad surgery; all the great surgery is invisible). It's also a great mental health boost, if I supported public funding I might for that

I've had some plastic surgery and it's generally been a super positive experience for me. My nosejob was amazing, for example - had a bit of a crooked nose, and straightening it out slightly increased my continual baseline happiness. And nobody can tell!

I've got a crooked nose, and more than 30 years ago I thought I might want plastic surgery to fix it. I'm more concerned now with my crooked teeth (which were just as bad in my teens), but I can understand and respect the appeal for anyone with the means.

Basic happiness doesn't depend on how you look. These were your acquired complexes that you deceived. The problem is initially psychological and you could just accept yourself.

Why not, but I'm sad when beautiful people consider themselves ugly and strive to be like accepted standards. It’s good that the boundaries of beauty, according to society, are moving apart, although rather slowly
