What words would you kinda like to see just vanish from the face of the earth - words that *confuse* discussion as opposed to clarifying it?
For me, "exploitation" would be up there

Like - exploitation is a messy word that mixes together power and fairness and obligation and involuntaryness in a confusing muddled soup that just kinda "sounds bad" but doesn't mean anything specifically

What? No, exploitation has an exact definition.
It's the use of someone/something as a means to an end. The pursuit of an extrinsic good.

Almost all the suggestions in this thread are words with a suffix changing its part of speech. Sometimes inventing a fairly new word. So… something about that.

Grooming. It implies a level of planning and calculation in sexual assault that is rarely present.

“harmful”, “problematic”, “whiteness”, “violence” all good, but the absurd ways in which “equity” is used makes it my #1

Why remove words? Why not add more? The reason a word adds confusion is presumably because it van be interpreted in different ways and double used which makes breaks in logic harder to find and arguments can hinge on that. So having a smaller word space will increase this.
