i'm under this terrible curse where like, 1/5 of my emails to people go to their spam folders. It's not quite enough for me to make a new email, but also just enough that I never feel at peace after I send an email

keep your contact email the same, but have the emails get forwarded to another, new email, and reply from that one. Then only the ppl you want to have ur new email have it, too.

Is it at your own domain? If so, you might be able to fix it with some tweaks, e.g. DKIM.

Nothing from you in my spam folders, but that was the expected result.
There are one or two people whose email often ends up in my spam. It may be the subject lines, email size, origin (your email provider) and perhaps the attachments.
