Last year my roommates and I had fun gambling with Gamestop; one day I woke up and said "you know it's weird, I just don't feel interested in gamestop anymore" and my roommate heard that and immediately sold (right before it crashed). I'm sorta having this feeling with woke stuff

there's something like, it's just not *interesting* anymore. I think part of me believes that big institutions don't *really* take it seriously? Scott echoed this in his recent ACX blog post and I agree; it feels like I never actually run into woke people now, it's not trendy.

It’s gains are effectively institutionalised, so don’t expect much to change if it looses its popularity. The laws mandating boardroom quotas, large equality departments, ect will stay on the books for eternity

I dunno I read student papers everyday. Plenty of woke fueling future woke. I’m less optimistic.

I'd like woke people to not just move on and pretend nothing happened but remain silent, withdraw from public life.

I said it was just a phase when it started. You never hear about a historical example of similar behaviour that expanded or lasted long. It implied that it would always have longevity issues.

I feel this. Wokism has ran out and feels like it’s beginning to die. I fear what could come from its ashes though.
