weird how different stuff like this can be for ppl; i feel like austin is full of energy to me, lots of gravity/momentum there, i'm not nearly as drawn to any other US city atm

Same, but I note that we all saying this are plugged into the communities in really effective ways— I will admit that on like a broader institutional level, it is a little lackluster compared to NY or more established cultural centers. It feels early for me but the seeds are gud

Make the most of what you got, thats how to live! I can have a blast anywhere
Low crime (rising but low compared to other cities), direct flights finally, great restaurants and when I go out, I actually see a people of various color and language. It isn't international by any stretch of the imagination but so much better than the 90's and vibrant. Agree
