I wanna get better at not just spurting out my thoughts with fun as the primary objective, and instead figure out how to tweet controversial takes *without* getting ratio'd. Any tips for methods of presenting tough ideas that don't make people mad at you?

Yes, sometimes you can “pre-pacify” people who disagree with you —intelligent people, not trolls — if you acknowledge their perspective and the logical arguments for their opinion (even though you disagree with them, overall) Tough with limited characters, but sometimes possible

Maybe you don’t want to believe it because you trust human beings. The pbm is not just humans, it’s Twitter. Short means by definition not nuanced. And you don’t have control over the culture of the debate. One way: cap responses to these tweets to those you follow

Then go sigma: take frame control. Getting ratioed is good. It means you briefly helped people break out of their comfort zone. That you created an anti-echo chamber. That people can trust you to continue to do this. And you still have fun doing it.
