We shouldn't trade safety for convenience. Especially not with something that is taking over 3000 lives every day - *preventable* deaths. We don't care about the common good, we just don't want the convenience of our lives interrupted by lowering the maximum speed limit to 30mph.

Seriously, cars and motorcycles go too fast. There's an epidemic of people dying in road accidents. You're imparting a small but significant risk to other people's lives by going so fast. Wearing seatbelts protects you, but not the more vulnerable. Slow down!
