For a while i saw myself as only half in the rationality community: I like hippies and rolling around, I hang out with embodied ppl, etc.
but in practice this is kinda untrue? most of my socialization is with rats, and i feel startlingly rationalist when in non-rat communities

like when im hanging out with "normies," the thing i feel is like 15% "oh wow i'm a weird hippie" and 85% "wow i'm a weird rationalist"

I'm in no way part of a rationalist community, nor would I consider myself one. However I often find myself using terms that are, somewhat, part of the rationalist vocabulary. I just used "object level" today, and I felt quite lonely as no one really grasped it

The rat thing with me comes from wanting to say things clearly. But I'm leaning heavily towards paraconsistent approaches for things like compromises. Also always being rational is really bad for your well being. I don't vibe with socially strategic rationalism either.
