Uh unclear, the studies I read also didn't seem to go too much in depth (altho i tended to skip over the first intro part where they might have defined it)
I was under the impression based on reading it that it was a situation where someone is forced into sex work without consent

I think minors can consent to sex, it's legal for them to have sex with other minors within a certain range of age for example

true; if we do consider this to be a consent violation, then i would argue it's of a different... nature of consent violation? As in; a 17-year-old who voluntarily, enthusiastically engages in paid sex with a 25 year old feels diff to me than an imprisoned, raped adult

yeah, the less-bad trafficking may have been included. This *was* explicitly outlined in the Ohio study, which I'm thankful for.
