I read about the tsunami warning in the bay area and was like damn, sucks for them, should i reach out to my friends there and see how they feel?

Weirdest advisory ever. I woke up wondering if there would be an emergency announcement mission (fly down the coast in a small plane with a large speaker). "Waves up to 3 feet from a 1.0 magnitude quake."

This must be pure theater. They should be able to predict quite accurately when it will hit. Additionally, it would have already reached Sydney and Tokyo so they could predict the potential swell.
