The rationality community definitely isn't perfect, but it's really, really good. Rationalists are one of the few groups that are both really smart and actively practice looking past their own ego to find truth. I can't express how much beaming appreciation I have for this.

A much better word would be “aspirationalists”. It clearly states we aspire to rationality, rather than making the bold claim we are truly rational. Also it kinda sounds like “aspie rationalists”, which is accurate.
