This tool describes going grocery shopping with standard masks as "dangerously high risk" which in my opinion renders it completely worthless for making actual decisions

Check the bottom, you can set your risk levels. iirc the default is a 1% chance per year of getting covid

Their default, "suggested for healthy people", level of risk should not classify a vaccinated and masked person grocery shopping as dangerously high risk. Also adjusting the risk levels doesn't change it past "very high risk." That is not consistent with reality

you must be in an extremely high covid area, it gave me moderate risk
There are places where 1 in 10 currently have covid. Saying you have a high risk of acquiring covid while grocery shopping is consistent with reality. You may object that you don’t care about avoiding covid or its not feasible for you, but that doesn’t make the results wrong.
