That's just a mental-domain-specific way of saying you don't need to exercise if you don't enjoy it. Some people have great genetics and are naturally fit, but most of us need some work to be maximally healthy.

I will say focusing on something past the point of enjoying *might* lead to a moment of clarity after you get frustrated enough with it (insert caveat that I'm evenly keeled and I typically don't get angry)
