i felt 'scientific' gestured at a difference a little more than 'correct'; some ppl believe astrology is more correct and less scientific, and i wanted to ask about the kind that also believes it's scientific

I don't think it's a useful predictive model, but it does employ some very low-level scientific inquiries IMO. It's just that their underlying assumptions are all but unverifiable which is where most people interested in scientific investigation get off the ride.
