Lmao in Jan 2020 I told a friend of mine the World Bank Pandemic Bonds were a complete scam and it was bullshit I had no way to say that pandemics weren’t a problem. Then again in Mar 2020 I was convinced they could be easily fought. Count me up as a fool! 🤣

Hahaha, I remember that. I think I said lots of impact, which as Melbourne is one of the longest locked down cities in the world, I gotta say nailed it

that's from back when we were all still joking about Lyme and Corona. Myself included.
It didn't start to sink in until I saw the reports about asymptomatic/stealth transmission and community transmission in the Pacific Northwest. That made it clear that it couldn't be contained

I voted barely/none and I stand by that. the city of st. louis never "locked down" or banned indoor dining or anything like that, they just required everyone to usually wear masks indoors for a while and now they don't.
