More compassion seems potentially exhausting? I know it's a good, but I see some highly compassionate friends who just fail to fend for themselves because they're so wrapped up in helping others.

I thought this is an easy choice. Why would i want to feel more compassion? To feel more sadness whenever somebody else feels sad? Then i realized, teoretically you should also feel more happy, right? But thats not how I understand compassion. It is definitely a con for me.
