I truly don’t have the patience for this stuff. First of all please don’t use the term trigger if you’re not talking about PTSD - this impacts me personally and the traumatized generally. Second of all oh my god what’s wrong with accepting and allowing that there is some mystery?

Ppl who are real into astrology/conspiracies/woo beliefs *really* trigger me, but it's not because of the beliefs themselves, it's what it indicates about the person. To me, it implies a profound lack of curiosity in checking to see if their beliefs are true. 1/

Like astrophysicists will tell you they don’t have all the answers. Any intelligent person, any person actually of science, will tell you that they don’t have all the answers and that it may be impossible to have them. There will always be mystery to the universe.

I love science. I think it’s great. I love physics because it’s basically just math. I’m a math person. I have a business degree. And still I love astrology, I love the mystery of the universe, I believe in forces that course through us. What reason is there not to believe?

People in science and math are actively trying to figure out how it works, but I've never seen anyone in astrology "try to figure out how it works" in a casual sense. There's so many experiments to run! And nobody in astrology seems to care about it!
