Ppl who are real into astrology/conspiracies/woo beliefs *really* trigger me, but it's not because of the beliefs themselves, it's what it indicates about the person. To me, it implies a profound lack of curiosity in checking to see if their beliefs are true. 1/

I think you'd be surprised to find most astrologers are pretty self reflective and curious about the world. I understand why you would dismiss it, but this might be a good opportunity to practice what you're saying by investigating to see if your own preconceptions are correct.

so far not a single astrologer has proposed testing to see if it's true in my mentions, not a single damn one. This is really only reaffirming my model here. So many other worldviews i would see ppl proposing tests!

The problem is you’re limiting your understanding of the topic based on who is in your mentions and comes to you*. It’s you* who doesn’t have the curiosity to go outside your own bubble to further explore the topic. So we don’t expect you to have an intelligible view on astrology

Believe it or not, astrology takes time and effort to do in a detailed and methodical manner. Ain't nobody got time to do a bunch of hard work for someone who's just looking for another reason to shit all over their efforts... You might have to do your own research here...

do you not realise that demanding others "prove" their beliefs with "tests" is coming from *your* faith in Science? (even though belief & faith are inherently unscientific things which cannot be tested or proven in the way you demand)

A Hindu astrologer told my mum I was gonna be a doctor. Just to prove him wrong I picked engineering in undergrad so I couldn’t go to med school. Ended up getting a PhD and a doctor 😥 I don’t believe in it per se but sometimes I think Hindu astrology has some magic behind it

Chile you just talking to talk because I see in one of your replies you were reluctant to give your birth time. Study your chart yourself until then stop going against what you don't know.
