I definitely recommend trying out some form of "woo", not with the intent to test the "truth" of it, but to enter into and understand its mindset.

I think it depends on the attitude towards truth? That the fundamental truth about the world is known (given by the Bible) and dissenting ideas are in error. vs. That the world is full of wonder and magic and symbolism bleeds through everything causing synchronicity everywhere.
