Ppl who are real into astrology/conspiracies/woo beliefs *really* trigger me, but it's not because of the beliefs themselves, it's what it indicates about the person. To me, it implies a profound lack of curiosity in checking to see if their beliefs are true. 1/

It’s even wilder that a lot of us in that sphere are actually very smart and often very educated people, with great analytical skills, but also with compassion for human spiritual needs. It’s almost like we’re aware that multi-dimensional, multi-disciplinary thinking is valid.

Yeah i wouldnt trust an astrologer to touch me with a ten foot pole. I don't think i've ever met a single astrologer who seemed to have a scientific orientation towards questioning the world. Im down to meet one if you know one though!

Sounds like you’ve had a very limited experience with likely very limited astrologers. This is kind of like basing your opinion on a report given by a high school freshman. I’m reluctant to tag good follows, tbh, because I don’t want to throw anyone into a ring by surprise.

i feel like people don't understand i am legitimately open to updating my beliefs about this given good evidence. If we run a few tests and it comes up with results i didn't anticipate, i would absolutely publicly be like 'whoah i mighta been wrong about this'
