Ppl who are real into astrology/conspiracies/woo beliefs *really* trigger me, but it's not because of the beliefs themselves, it's what it indicates about the person. To me, it implies a profound lack of curiosity in checking to see if their beliefs are true. 1/

at ~90k followers you should probably assume that anything you tweet will be QT'd into the spheres you're talking about, especially by people looking to stir shit and cause a scene for fun

Heh, it's become an interest of mine. I think there's a route that makes it justifiable through psychoanalytic theory, esp post-linguistic turn. But it's not an easy sell for a lot of people.
