Happy to be more precise here If you believe astrology is actually predictive of personality, then you probably will score lower on IQ tests. This isn't an absolute predictor, but an average one. Similarly to how I predict heavier ppl are more likely to be tall.

I feel like this is less precise. Are we starting from the premise that IQ tests are objective measures of intelligence? Or just believing in astrology correlates to performing less well on certain kinds of tests? Are people who perform less well on IQ tests incurious by nature?

yeah i’m not getting their point bc many people can make the argument that iq tests do not have the reliability that they may think it has. What does astrology + IQ tests have to do with each other tho? If anything, you have to be smart to learn planet positions and the effects?

sure, but this statement also gives me the info that you might not be educated on the depth that astrology holds because it’s not just “a list of claims” at all in the slightest lmao. Math, science, etc is all involved. It’s a very diverse topic, actually.

i feel like this is like... i know a dude who is convinced that all butterflies are actually hyper intelligent spies for a secret underwater country of whales, and when i say 'this is retarded' he's like "you just havent looked into it enough"
