i highly disagree. as a tarot reader, you're constantly met with the idea that it could be false, therefore indicating the need to do your own research and develop a relationship with the craft to determine whether it's something you want to believe in or not.

the same goes for astrology though. people aren't just looking at a planet and randomly assigning it a meaning. it comes from thousands and thousands of years of knowledge, understanding and ancient wisdom passed down, alongside practice and revision of whats been said before.

Lots of things I don't respect are in that category; being passed down for thousands of years does not make it true but i'd assume, then, that different systems of astrology developed from diff parts of the world should then be basically the same
