Ppl who are real into astrology/conspiracies/woo beliefs *really* trigger me, but it's not because of the beliefs themselves, it's what it indicates about the person. To me, it implies a profound lack of curiosity in checking to see if their beliefs are true. 1/

oh yeah, they have plenty of curiosity, but its notoriously absent in the 'checking if it's true' category

Gotcha…and the “non woo” folks spend their time fact checking their religions, morals/ethics, political beliefs etc at a higher rate?

slightly lol 😂 It’s definitely a spectrum, like with all things. As a “woo” person, I see astro stuff on here that I find ridiculous/lazy etc, but I know many more ppl that are intelligent representatives of a practice that is literally ancient

And since there’s only a “slight” number of “non woo” people who are taking the time to research what they believe…it sounds like there’s not much of a difference…based on what you said , anyway.
