can you imagine if ppl talked about alcohol like they do porn "I had an issue with consuming alcohol, it made me feel like shit" "Ahah! So we should ban all alcohol!" naw man; porn seems to have a real bad effect on some ppl, just like alcohol; we should treat them similarly!

Porn also great for some people, just like alcohol. It's contextual, it depends on where you are in life, what you use it for, who you use it with, etc. I'm down to have more education and warnings about the downsides of porn, sure! But banning is way too far.

I don’t think Alcohol is “great for some people” perhaps they do not develop dependency or they do not abuse it… I do agree porn is an excellent comparison. It is about escapism and pleasure. In small doses… it perhaps relaxes the mind a bit, but over use is a problem
