If you voluntarily make an exchange with someone else, both of you gain value; both of you would prefer to have what you got from the trade more than what you lost. This isnt exploitation, trade isnt zero sum. Billions of these little value gains are what civilization is made of!

But you can see that if circumstances limit someone’s options of what they can do and for how much them they may exchange to survive because survival is better than death but that arrangement could still be exploitative right?

If they had another place to trade their labor for a better deal then they should take take that deal instead. The options are waste the labor by not trading it, accept the trade of which the labor is given on the terms both parties agree to, or look for a better trade.

You're being obtuse. Power, resources and access to information all play a role. People are exploited when the relationship is not equal when the negotiations take place. That's why we have unions and labor laws.
