Have you considered that people who get rich are just better than you? Obviously other factors are at play too, but anybody who's launched themselves up a tier in wealth usually are brilliant, bold risk takers, work super hard, and create way more value for the world than you do.

I sit on my ass half the days playing video games or watching youtube, I get tired after going outside like once, my house is messy, I poop like twice a week, and because of this I do *not* produce a ton of value for those around me and I do not deserve to be ultra rich.

Deep down, this is the real question: do you think being bitter and envious of the rich is in your best interest? Maybe as a prelude to pillaging them? Is it profitable, however you define that? If no => what you said If yes => the opposite of what you said

i agree, but only regarding a significant minority of successful entrepreneurs. most rich people don't "better more people's lives," they take advantage of loopholes, opportunities, and people's gullibility. i've been around quite a few

While this is certainly true to a degree, the issues are that there are many who are all of these things and yet they don't succeed, and those who do tend to end up with more than their share of the pie, and that specifically is very wasteful.

Current wealth ≠ current level of value creation Inheritance/familial wealth obviously, but also disproportionate returns often go to people who take actions detrimental to society (PE firms, drug lords, repressive dictatorships).
