Yes. Not only is "banana" a feature of your brain's generative model of reality as opposed to reality itself, so is "yellow" and so is "vision". You just have a bunch of neurons predicting themselves, "vision" is your best guess at what causes changes to some visual cortex ones.

The difference is that you're aware that your explicit models of how brains work are just models, while "a yellow banana" just appears immediately in your consciousness when you see it and is much more tempting to interpret as being just what reality is.
