My date-me experiment round has drawn to a bittersweet close. I feel pretty pessimistic about the idea of finding someone to date who I'm excited about. Any suggestions on how to increase the chances of meeting people I'd romantically like?

I'd say just go to conferences and other social events where you're meeting lots of new people and hopefully you'll eventually stumble across someone that you find yourself thinking about a lot when they're not around. And if you're lucky, they're thinking a lot about you too.

I don't know anything about Aella, but in general, I do believe that the numbers game is tough for educated women, especially after their 20's. Fewer educated men; fewer men who want commitment; higher percentage of gay men (than lesbians), etc. The numbers do matter irl.
