you ever want to delete your twitter account and start over because your follower count is too high and it ruined the quality of your replies

yes
i look with some envy at ingroup-type accounts where their replies feel so much more cozy
but then idk how to get an alt 'started', i would have to put a lot of effort into it that i don't have

i think you just make the same tweets but on a different account lol, i guess it would lower the sample size of your polls
ingroup is pretty follow-happy; if you speak the local dialect in replies, it shouldn't be tooo much work to end up with a decent # of mutuals in like a few days

you make the effort to tweet as . just direct some of that effort into an @aellalt account, don't have to change how you tweet or anything

there's effectively a whisper network in the locked alts, you could just tell a couple of people and everyone in there could pass along the info informally and you'd pick up like 200+ ingroup follows from that, and then everyone else by extension of those mutuals

haha, not putting effort into it is how you keep your follower count low in the first place!
