I am mildly allergic to cats and travel too often to own one, but I *love* cats so much. Does anybody in Austin have a friendly cat and also is like... gone from their house, cause I don't wanna socialize with you I just want to hang out with your cat

There is a cat lady who maintains a feral cat colony in my yard. I’m allergic too, so it is how I get my fix.

I'd offer when we're out of town, but our cat is way too wary of new people. Best you'd get is her staring at you from a few feet away. Took the better part of a year for her to warm up to us, and she still won't tolerate anyone else touching her.

Same here but I have the privilege to live in the country that invented cat cafes. I love working from there when I can
