I mean, no? I think the lgbtq+ identity should come along the idea of gender identity and sexual orientation. Meanwhile poly or mono fall more in line in the relationship romantic or sexual structure, rather than the orientation

idk how to make sense of it and I don't super care, but I find myself generally unattracted to monogamous people; my relationship style doesn't feel like a choice, it feels like a fundamental part of me. I know not all poly people feel this way though!

I understand what you mean. I think it’s like…well, you have bi, homo, pan, etc. For sexual orientation. Like, what kind of gender you are attracted to. Meanwhile not being attracted to mono could go along with:not being attracted to older people. Not attracted to religious, etc
