When you eat a pringle, do you insert it into your mouth with the curve pointing up or down? As in, do you orient it like a u or a n

its always a 'u' or an 'n' depending on whether you're looking along the long side or the short side

Both. Pringles are hyperbolic paraboloids. Meaning from one end it is curving one way and from the other it is curving the other way.

Question is still ambiguous as a Pringle will *always* have a u-shaped and n-shaped profile so depends on whether you are referring to "front view" or "side view". However, due to the ergonomics of the human mouth and experience I assume you refer to the "front view" by default.

Whichever side has more of the tasty dust, which is mostly the inside of the u-shape, so I said n
