My landlord lived in this house before me for years; he's nice, but really weird. 1. He TILED OVER the window in the bathroom - just the inside, you can still clearly see the window from the outside of the house. I asked why, he said "for privacy". He has blinds everywhere else.

2. Before I moved in, he had a bunch of chairs all over - way too many, kind of uncomfortable looking, lined up in awkward positions in corners. He said he liked creating various seating areas. I asked if he threw a lot of parties, he said "no, I've never had anyone over"

3. He installed a 2nd bathroom - not on the other side of the house that needs it, but DIRECTLY NEXT TO THE ORIGINAL BATHROOM. The bthrm is so small the sink pushes you to the side when you sit down, but at least now you can make eye contact with your buddy when you both poo

This one is the most interesting to me because it also implies that it works well enough that you’ve NEVER had a problem with it where you had to investigate and fiddle with it.
