If you didn't know, Twitter is the last big platform that allows sex workers to openly advertise as sex workers, (although Twitter does search ban them).
I really, really hope the new CEO doesn't fuck over sex workers. This is all we have left.

Serious question: how large an impact does advertising have on your bottom line (heh)? Isn't sex work resilient in the face of anti-sex authoritarianism?

for onlyfans, if I were unable to advertise on sites outside of onlyfans itself, my income would probably drop at least 90%

I think it’s an inevitability 😩 for a lot of reasons but chiefly because they are really ramping up monetization which means content will have to be scrutinized much more heavily

Hard to imagine that this doesn't happen. Jack has the authority to be a weirdo pushing his personal agenda. New CEO is going to be a corporate bot trying to monetize everything. Advertiser's don't want their Ads to appear right next to a sex-work post, so that's it.

SW will find new ways to advertise. There must be a man, woman or non binary person in the industry that is working on their own platform that is SW run and managed. If not, it's only a matter of time before necessity turns that dream into a reality. Decentralized Social Media.
