"have I doubled my surface area since growing out my hair?" -
Conversation
Rough estimate: 100,000 hairs×2π×75 μm=0.23 m² per cm hair length. Average adult male surface area 1.9 m², or about 8.3 cm hair length. I think I have more than doubled my area over the past year.

So... maybe there *is* truth to longhairism-gives-you-power a la Samson, because it drastically increases your contact area with the rest of the universe.

I claim growing your hair out 10 inches increases your surface area by 2 meters squared.

This is my main part that gets caught on things, so I would wager it's a yes.
Human with most surface area needs to be in the Guiness Book of World Records.
