Taking a quick look through the comments and rt’s not too many people out there are agreeing with you. But looking for an “official” Jewish opinion is a false start. We are a group of millions of people, we aren’t a monolith so there won’t be a monolith opinion.

I don't desire for people to be offended based on what I say, but if the way to solve this is me changing what I'm saying, then I would rather not do that. I will not pretend ashkenazis *aren't* on average smarter just because some people get offended by it.

Like, this is actively and morally important to me. I have spent a long time around people who got offended at things I thought or did, and after getting out I was like wait, actually I should have been allowed to express myself and *they* shouldn't have stopped me.

I support changing to being non-offensive whenever we can; I advise people who don't support trans people to nevertheless use the pronouns because it's not a big change in order to be kind and gracious. But I will not ever change opinions I hold about reality because of offense.

You’re relying on unsubstantiated intuition to back up bold, super general, and very aggressive eugenic claims about ethnicities and other stereotypical gender behaviors. No one really knows which jewish sect is smarter (probably impossible to measure). Intuition =\= reality.

That argues that it is because of environmental conditions, and not ethnicity or religion, that resulted in that. If that theory is correct, then any group can expect to have similar IQ improvements.Which is exactly what people are telling you. It’s not about ethnicity or gender.

They’re not smarter because they’re a particular group of jews. They’re smarter because society forced them to do work that naturally results in higher levels of structural intelligence. Any group and any religion can expect similar results if they work 24/7 on quantifiable data.

The 'selected for' and 'pressure' I believe refers to reproduction and thus genetics; Ashkenazis, more than other ethnicities, had higher environmental pressures and thus it was more likely that the high IQ of their group were to reproduce
