I often say contradictory-seeming things; this is usually (tho not always) intentional. Particularly with shorter-form writing, when trying to make a point, I often intentionally simplify the rest of my worldview in order to try to illuminate that point. 1/

If I had more time or give-a-fuck, I could do a lot more detailed-but-accurate representations of my true views, but they're often extremely nuanced, or contextual, or dependent on a lot of background frame that I don't anticipate readers automatically know. 2/

There's also lots of things that even w/ full knowledge seem contradictory, but I inhabit a frame where they aren't. Asin I often feel rage at someone, *and* also acceptance; or I sometimes perform strong social rejection while also genuinely hoping they will thrive elsewhere. 4/

My views and feelings usually have many layers that seem disjointed, but don't feel like it to me. I am happy to contain multitudes, to both push and pull against the same worldview at different times or in different contexts, or to argue for contradicting things to make a point.
