This seems pretty cool. It's tempting, when trying to correct an existing bad thing, to overcorrect and suppress information that's perceived as a threat from the existing bad thing. If this university doesn't fall into that trap, I think it'll be super awesome.

I think so, yes. I'm not in academia but from what I understand and have heard from academics, I could never do the kind of research I want to do through a university.

Curious to why would that be honestly I am just an undergrad, but I can't see academia failing to produce valuable knowledge, look at all the recents breakthroughs. How much we know about the biology of "mental disorders" for example, which is what I'm studying at the moment
