Also, the rates of sexual assault in sex work might seem pretty bad, but if you tend to have sex with many partners already you're already taking a similar (if not greater) risk.

we want decriminalization, not legalization. The thing that would make it safer is ability to go to the police when assaulted, and also full blacklist organizations that verify people for you (which I suspect are currently illegal)

I experienced far more instances of sexual assault in my work life in trad’ art world than in my personal life (big part of why I went indie). It seems more like the danger of being a woman in the world than anything else.

The assumption here is imho that professionally you „just“ want a career/ money and there are safer ways. Privately you want casual sex and have to accept some risk as this is inherently risky.

What can a normal guy do to help reduce the amount of sexual assaults that happen to others? Besides not sexually assaulting someone. That’s an easy no brainer one.
