As a tenured professor, scholarship and mentorship are one of the things you are specifically paid to do by your salary.
It's as if I requested $5 to see students during office hours for my classes.

Oh but I thought the tweet specified not at their school. I figured if your school is paying you a salary it's not to mentor students from other schools?
