I'm torn. I'm hardcore free speech BUT this is a school setting. What I do as a private citizen is different than how I behave in class. (I address people by the pronouns they prefer, but that's me.) Enforcing courtesy norms seems within the bounds of what schools do.

We and partners filed an amicus brief to tell the court: Refusing to use a student's pronouns because of who they are is discrimination.
