I wonder if an effective method of changing pro-life minds would be to put a few thousand fertilized eggs into a thimble and give it to them and be like 'if you throw this away you will kill thousands of people'

the process to get a few thousand fertilized eggs would cost a fortune but I'm not sure someone could really 'believe' they're holding thousands of people in their hands, yknow?

I mean every time they rub one out they're "killing" millions already so... 🤷♂️

Yeah maybe you could just do like the dark knight rises thing and trap a thousand people on a ferry rigged with explosives and hand a pro-life person a detonator in fragile glass that goes off if it breaks.

Beyond not throwing it away… they might need to attempt implanting all of them, or at least freezing them until hosts can be found for all of them. It’s the trolley problem with thousands of embryos but it costs millions of dollars to throw the switch.

Why?
And, I mean, pRoChOiCe will go any length to prove a nonexistent point... so, yeah, just ask any of the "progressive" powerholders for a grant, and you be given litres of fertilized eggs to own the cons ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

it would be extremely expensive precisely because of that reason - nobody would want to give away their fertilized egg (their future baby)

I always like to say "imagine you're in a burning building. You could save one screaming 6 year old or 10 fertilized embryos before the building collapses. Which do you save?" Then I increase the embryo count and their mind almost never changes. Then come the "well you see"
