one thing i hate more than anything is that if i go reveal my (birth) name to any hardcore evangelical christian/group anywhere they immediately go email my parents to let me know they talked to me and what i said and what i was like. It's like a giant spy network

sparked a random memory- one time a kid i knew in los angeles snuck away on a date and within two days there were two calls from concerned jews to our head rabbi- they'd seen him walking in the street- they saw he was wearing jeans and were very concerned (jeans are v. goyish)

Too funny. We weren’t allowed to wear blue jeans for similar reasons. Black jeans were ok tho 🤷♂️
