A lot of people on the left think that the tax and regulatory burden on companies always ranges from "too low" to "fair" and if you can't make your business work under them your business shouldn't exist.

If you believe businesses are somewhat exploitative by default, seems pretty intuitive/reasonable? Why disgust ? Requires some econ understanding understand why that's not the case, but it seems unreasonable to expect most people to have that econ background.
