it's weird for so many people who don't know you, to have such strong opinions about you, which they voice not to you but to each other, and are opinions you know would probably be different if they hung out with you IRL. It's just a straight-up bizarre sensation.

experienced this in school, college, work environments that are much larger than the Dunbar number. seems the default setting for most humans, the more you differ from the norm the stronger the opinions.🤔 these might explain differences between individual and communal cultures.
