The 13-year-old-terminal-illness tweet was a question from someone who wished to be anonymous. I've developed my own intuition for question credit over the years, and here's roughly the rules I follow:

1. For "I have a poll idea," I either credit them directly or say "submitted by friend"
2. If I hear a q asked in conversation, I ask if they want credit; if no, I don't leave any credit line
3. For very common qs, for qs where originator is unclear, I don't ask or include credit

Questions are a confusing 'ownership' area; some of them are clearly original ideas that are closer to like... a quote or creative idea, and others like... belong to humanity? For Askhole, around 50% are original from me and , the other are collected.

"Would you give up 5 years of your life for the so-called perfect body?" was on a program called Fleabag. That would make an interesting poll broken down by gender. (You might elaborate on meaning of 'so-called perfect body' to exclude or include health and superpowers.)
