If they're saying that about sex between minors, it's such a fringe view it's not even worth acknowledging.
Usually people mean they can't legally consent but they mistakenly use that arg when laws aren't even being discussed, rather ethics or morality.

It's clearly an arbitrary presumption in law. Not a true reflection of moral feeling. It's a mistake to equate the two.

they ought to lookup the various ages of consent in countries around the world. Think it varies from 12 to 18, and some places you cant consent until youre married!
