I’m curious. Is there a name for people who aren’t *necessarily* the highest IQ but they are the most capable in terms of becoming the most “right” (most accurate modeling?) about things they think about? Is this an identified group in even at least fringe psychology?

My dad has an officially tested IQ of 146 and believes evolution is a lie. Being smart often doesn't make you right, it mostly makes you more effective at believing what you believe.
