My dad has an officially tested IQ of 146 and believes evolution is a lie. Being smart often doesn't make you right, it mostly makes you more effective at believing what you believe.

How old are you? My dad is *very* smart and while I usually would laugh at the kind of things he thought and said, the more I grew up and learned some things, the more I realize he was/is right on many of the things he said... 🤷

Maybe he is, maybe he isn't. In my perspective, there's a few things I am sure of: 1. There are very few times when I user the word sure. 2. I try to avoid the words always, never 3. I try to avoid the words impossible or can't be done. :)

I’m surprised he didn’t realize that God uses evolution. Weird
